Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead an on-site team in Waterville, ME. The Lead Provider will mentor clinical staff and drive high-quality, patient-centered urgent care.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with diverse professionals. Eligible candidates hold NP/PA certification, an unrestricted license, BLS, and emergency/urgent care experience;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification by a recognized NP/PA certifying body.
• Active state license (or eligibility).
• Unrestricted DEA license.

As the clinical leader ofthe site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring clinical excellence,supporting new graduate providers, and fostering a collaborative team culturethat prioritizes safety, efficiency, and outstanding patient outcomes.

Position Overview:

• Delivering comprehensiveurgent care services to patients of all ages
• Serving as the clinicalleader for all on-site clinical staff
• Mentoring and supporting newgraduate NPs/PAs and allied healthcare professional
• Promoting evidence-basedpractice and high clinical standards
• Ensuring compliance withregulatory and clinical protocols

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from anaccredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Certification by arecognized NP or PA certifying body
• Active Massachusetts license(or eligibility for licensure)
• Must have and maintain anunrestricted DEA license
• BLS certification throughthe American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Clinical experience inemergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership,mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
