Job summary
Meritus Health Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Meritus Urgent Care – Valley Mall in Hagerstown, MD. You will provide timely, compassionate care to patients of all ages with common illnesses and minor injuries in a walk-in urgent care setting.
The role offers a seven-days-a-week schedule with evenings, working alongside an established urgent care team in a location designed for accessible care. You will evaluate patients, order appropriate tests, and coordinate with the broader Meritus
Qualifications
- Current Maryland NP licensure or eligibility.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in urgent care, ER, or family medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with non-emergency illnesses and injuries.
- Perform histories, exams, and order/interpret tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and educate patients.
- Identify when higher level of care is needed.
