Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care centers. You’ll provide high‑quality patient care, manage acute conditions, perform procedures, and support supervising physicians in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license required in state of practice.
• 2+ years of urgent care, family medicine, or emergency care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care.
• Manage acute conditions, infections, and injuries.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, drainage).
• Conduct comprehensive physicals including DOT and employment exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostics (labs, X-ray, EKG).
• Counsel patients on care plans and preventive health.
