Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is hiring for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality urgent care services across AFC centers. You will work within a collaborative clinical team to assess and treat patients of all ages, ensuring efficient, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes autonomy, ongoing professional development, and a strong emphasis on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license (ANCC/AANP) or Certified Physician Assistant with active license (NCCPA).
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care, family medicine, or emergency care experience.
• Strong communication and patient-centered mindset; BLS certification required or obtainable during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute conditions, infections, and injuries.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage.
