Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare, LP is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Erie to perform exams, develop treatment plans, and manage urgent care patients. You will join a fully licensed medical team and work alongside two physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements include NP/PA certification, active licensure, DEA license, and CPR/BLS/NALS; one year of urgent care or ER experience preferred, new grads considered. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• NP/PA certification required or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the state or ability to obtain
• Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certifications or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Able to communicate with patients, team members and management
• Able to make care decisions without direct supervision or physician
• One year of full-time Urgent Care or ER experience preferred; new grads may be considered

Responsibilities

• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments and document health history
• Manage a patient load of 20–40 per day
• Work 12–13 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Prescribe medications and therapies; order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform procedures: Suturing, I&D, splinting, foreign body removal
• Collaborate with two physicians to provide patient care
• Be part of a fully licensed medical team and supportive staff

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice, Urgent Care Associates of Erie, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Located at 2861 West 26th Street, we offer walk-in urgent care services for less-serious, non-life‑threatening medical issues that should be treated within 24 hours.

Position Highlights

• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
• Patient load: 20-40 patients/day
• Schedule: 12-13 Twelve (12) hour shifts per month
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
• Procedures include: Suturing, I&D, Splinting, foreign body removal
• Assist and work closely with two physicians to provide patient care
• Fully licensed medical team and support staff
