Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for Complete Women's Care in Virginia Beach. You will join a well-established OB/GYN team that cares for patients daily and collaborates with physicians and staff.

Candidates must hold NP certification, active Virginia licensure, CPR/BLS/NALS, and be able to develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients and team. Experience preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• National NP certification required or ability to obtain.
• Unrestricted, active license in Virginia or ability to obtain.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certifications or ability to obtain.
• Ability to develop treatment plans and communicate with patients and team.
• Ability to make care decisions without direct supervision.
• One year of full-time NP experience preferred.

Overview

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice, Complete Women's Care, in Virginia Beach is seeking a Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Position Highlights:

• Well established practice with a great team of experienced physicians
• Practice consists of 7 OB/GYNs, 5 NPs
• Patient census: 16-22 patients/day
• The practice is affiliated with Sentara Princess Ann - Level III NICU
• 1 MA - 2-3 exam rooms per pod
• Ultrasound in both locations
• Monday-Friday (may be open to 4 days/week)
• Athena - EMR

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtainCurrent Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
