Job summary

Cape Cod Healthcare’s Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod in Hyannis seeks a Nurse Manager for the Urgent Care Center. You will provide professional nursing care, supervise staff, coordinate operations, and ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

The role requires a BSN, MA RN license, 3–4 years in emergency/urgent care and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with strong computer skills and a commitment to CARES values. Full-time, days, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• BSN required and MA RN licensure
• 3–4 years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• Proficient in computer applications (EMR, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for Urgent Care Center patients and optimize office operations for quality care and efficiency.
• Directly supervise Urgent Care Center staff; recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate personnel.
• Provide professional nursing care under physician supervision; triage and document patient assessments.
• Ensure safe care standards, proper medication administration, and accurate charting.
• Oversee administrative records, billing processes, and interdepartmental communications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and advocate for patient rights; participate in staff development.
