Responsibilities

• Performs thorough physical examinations and takes complete history.
• Maintains patient records and relevant statistics by documenting patient information and care provided
• Evaluates data to determine preliminary diagnoses and to make therapeutic plan recommendations
• Administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and employer guidelines
• Obtains specimens for lab analysis and schedules diagnostic testing
• Provides instructions to patient, family and care providers relative to required medications and acts as a care advocate
