Job summary

UNC Health Urgent Care Raleigh clinics seek Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join an interdisciplinary team. You will treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries at multiple Wake County locations, with a shift-based full-time schedule and on-site support, including X-Ray and point-of-care testing.

Applicants should have NC licensure or the ability to obtain, and be comfortable in a fast-paced walk-in clinic environment serving patients 4 months and older.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care in a walk-in UNC Health Urgent Care clinic setting.
• Operate within a reservation and wait-time system across multiple Wake County locations.
