Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care by WellStreet in Solon, OH seeks experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for on-site urgent care roles. The team delivers compassionate, high‑quality care with physicians, emphasizes patient satisfaction, and supports center operations.

The role requires board eligibility or certification, Ohio licensure, and current DEA, with opportunities for FT (30 or 36 hours) or PT schedules. A $5,000 sign‑on bonus is offered for full‑time staff.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice in the state.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Licensed NP/PA in Ohio with current DEA registration.
• DOT certification required.
• Experience with suturing and abscess drainage.
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification provided if needed.
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Urgent Care/Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with resource management.
• Provide patient care with center physicians in adults and children.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for reimbursement.
• Communicate with patients, families, and colleagues effectively.
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications (BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS/NALS) as required.
