Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Simpsonville is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site team. You will provide high-quality medical care to adults and children, with emphasis on patient satisfaction and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as FNP or PA in South Carolina.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Meets credentialing requirements set by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients (adults and children).
• Deliver service with Prisma Health Urgent Care standards and high patient satisfaction.
• Provide patient care in accordance with policies and procedures and maintain complete records.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication for appropriate reimbursement.
• Support operations through meetings and professional development activities.
