Qualifications

• Minimum one year of urgent care experience.
• Minimum two years of experience (not for new graduates).
• Current DOT certification.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common urgent care conditions.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care).
• Interpret initial digital X-rays and EKGs.
• Complete DOT physicals and occupational health visits.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, scribes, and other providers.
• Use Athena EMR and adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Support clinic operations and team environment.
