Job summary

Live Urgent Care in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Provider, preferably a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with urgent care experience. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent care presentations, perform procedures, and maintain documentation in Athena EMR.

This role requires current NP licensure in NJ, NP master's degree, BC certification, CPR, and DOT certification (or within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NP licensure in the practicing state.
• Master's degree from an accredited NP program.
• Board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC).
• Current CPR certification.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• At least 1 year urgent care experience; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common urgent care conditions with skill and compassion.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, wound care).
• Interpret initial digital X-rays and EKGs.
• Complete DOT physicals and occupational health visits.
• Collaborate with medical assistants and staff to deliver efficient care.
• Utilize Athena EMR per clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Support clinic operations and team environment.
