Job summary

Live Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Provider with urgent care experience to diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent conditions in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with medical assistants and fellow providers using Athena EMR.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted NP or PA license, a Master’s in Nursing, and DOT certification, with a track record of strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of urgent care experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience (not for new graduates).
• Current DOT certification.
• Active and unrestricted NP/PA licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urgent care conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, minor injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Perform urgent care procedures: suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care.
• Interpret initial digital X-rays and EKGs.
• Complete DOT physicals and occupational health visits.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, scribes, and other providers to deliver efficient care.
• Use Athena EMR and follow clinical guidelines and workflows.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
