Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of urgent care experience
• Must have minimum two years of experience (not for new grads)
• Current DOT certification
• Active and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent care conditions
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care
• Interpret initial digital X-rays and EKGs
• Complete DOT physicals and occupational health visits
• Collaborate with medical assistants, scribes, and fellow providers
• Use Athena EMR and follow established guidelines and protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment
