Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care network across the Upstate region. The role supports patient services teams to treat ages 6 months and up in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in NP or PA, active SC licensure, DEA and SC Controlled Substances registrations, DOT certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP (Family) or PA.
• Active SC licensure.
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substances registrations.
• DOT Certification.
• 2+ years of experience in family practice or urgent care.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Willingness to work at other centers as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an urgent care setting with team support.
• Serve diverse patients ages 6 months and up.
• Collaborate with nurses, MAs, and x-ray techs to ensure smooth patient flow.

What Are We Looking For?

Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician Assistant or a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. The provider works with the support of our teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs to serve our diverse populations ages 6 months and above.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will bring with them:

• APP: Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
• Active SC licensure
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
• DOT Certification
• 2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.

An ideal candidate would also have:

• 5 or more years of urgent care experience as a FNP or PA
