Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner or PA-C certification.
• At least two years of clinical experience as FNP or PA-C.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care).
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills.
• Experience in urgent care or high-volume clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Prescribe medications per Georgia regulations and clinic protocols.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational team members to ensure high-quality patient experience.
