Job summary

CRH Healthcare's Peachtree Immediate Care is hiring an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for urgent care in Fairburn, GA. The role offers autonomy with collaborative team support and involves treating a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries in a high‑volume setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing urgent care procedures, ordering tests, prescribing meds, and educating families.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active and unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license or be eligible to obtain one.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA‑C.
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care).
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries.
• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and 12‑lead EKGs.
• Prescribing medications and therapies per Georgia regulations and clinic protocols.
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care.
• Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborating with clinical and operational teams to deliver high‑quality care.

Education

Georgia NP/PA license (active & unrestricted)

FNP or PA certification

Two years clinical experience as FNP/PA‑C
