Job summary

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice (SC)
• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in South Carolina
• Current DEA registration
• Must be DOT certified
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management with center physicians
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction
• Provide patient care compliant with center policies and procedures
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
• Complete documentation and ensure reimbursement communication
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and other required trainings
• Report to Regional Medical Director or Area Clinical Operations Director
