Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and medical staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This full-time position offers a rotating 36–40 hour week schedule, with weekend rotation. Requirements include a high school diploma, basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records; prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer software knowledge and EMR familiarity.
• Prior experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, assist with registration and direct them through the process.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents and perform daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, support clinical staff and close the office after the shift.
• Collect insurance info, verify demographics, process payments and post balances.
• Maintain a neat, professional workspace and adhere to safety procedures.
