Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR is seeking experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role covers clinical and administrative support, including vital signs, history, and procedure assistance.

Full-time staff work a rotating 36-40 hour week with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends; PRN options are also available. AR Limited X-Ray License and MAR-certified MA are preferred, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting areas, exam rooms, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to next steps.
• Address patient problems and seek help in emergencies.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk with check-in/out when needed.
• Record vital signs, weight, history, meds, allergies and relevant data.
• Assist with patient transfers and provider-supervised procedures.
• Complete documentation for each visit.
