Catawba Valley Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support a patient-centered practice in Hickory, NC. Under the supervision of a licensed physician or mid-level provider, you will perform clinical and administrative tasks to support high-quality outpatient care.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; BCLS certification must be obtained within three months. EHR familiarity is preferred to streamline patient flow and documentation.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assisting or certification as Medical Assistant.
• BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment date.
• Experience not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians or mid-level providers with patient care in a fast-paced clinic.
• Perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties to support outpatient care.
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered image and work within a team-based care model.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assisting

Certification as Medical Assistant or Paramedic degree/certification

BCLS certification within 3 months
