Job summary

Ardent Health's Unser Urgent Care in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for a full-time rotating shift. A sign-on bonus up to $2,500 is available. You will greet patients, take vitals, and support clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and MA program credentials, with 1 year of relevant experience or graduation from an accredited MA program. BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of MA experience in a medical facility or recent graduate from an accredited MA program.
• BLS certification and venipuncture training if required.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of effective patient care.
• Greets patients, escorts them to the exam room and performs vitals and other related MA duties.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty.
• Adheres to policies procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
