MD Now Urgent Care in Orlando is seeking a Medical Assistant PRN to support patient care across our Florida locations. You will help prepare patients, rooms, and equipment, assist with injections and labs, and support physicians with procedures.

We value flexibility to work at MD Now locations within the assigned area, with strong patient-care focus and teamwork to deliver high-quality urgent care services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical patient setting experience preferred.
• Experience using an EHR system is helpful.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or approved equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vitals.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Assist with injections, lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with splints, dressings and bandages.
• Coordinate patient physicals and follow-up scheduling.
• Travel/float between MD Now locations within assigned area.

Connaissances

1+ year clinical experience

EHR experience

Medical Assisting program graduate

AAMA certification helpful

CPR/BLS within 30 days

Federal Breath Alcohol Screening & Fed

Formation

Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program
