Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams in a fast-paced clinic. You will help manage patient flow, prepare visits, and assist with examinations and procedures while maintaining accurate electronic health records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited hands-on Medical Assistant program required.
• CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/RMA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares patients for visits as directed.
• Maintains and updates electronic health records and documentation.
• Greet patients and communicate with families with respect and professionalism.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures and treatments.
• Prepare, administer and document medications within scope of practice.
• Support office staff and management to improve patient experience and care quality.
