Job summary

AFC Urgent Care Orchards is hiring a driven Medical Assistant to support providers, perform triage, draws, vaccines, EKGs, and occupational health services. You will maintain EMR records, stock supplies, and help with front desk duties as needed.

Requirements include a WA State MA-C credential, 1+ year in a medical office, and COVID-era clinic experience is a plus. Competitive pay and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• WA State MA-C credential required
• 1+ year experience in a medical office; urgent care experience a bonus
• X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in procedures and deliver quality care
• Manage triage: take vitals, assess needs, calm patients
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, drug screens, and set up EKGs
• Provide occupational health services and physicals from start to finish
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR (Experity)
• Stock supplies, prep equipment, and ensure clean, stocked clinic
• Run daily checks on meds, supplies, and sterilization logs
• Serve as a communications bridge to relay patient information quickly
• Support front desk tasks including scheduling, check-ins, and insurance when needed
