Job summary

AFC Urgent Care Beaverton is hiring Medical Assistants to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality urgent care. You will support providers, manage triage, perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, EKGs, and basic occupational health services in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1+ year medical office experience preferred; urgent care is a bonus.
• X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with procedures and deliver exceptional care.
• Own the triage process: take vitals, assess needs, and comfort patients.
• Draw blood, administer vaccines, run drug screens, and set up EKGs.
• Handle occupational health services and physicals from start to finish.
• Maintain patient records in the EMR (Experity) and stock supplies.
• Support front desk tasks when needed (scheduling, check-ins, insurance).
