Job summary

AFC Urgent Care Beaverton is hiring for an Occ Med Medical Assistant. You will perform standard MA duties and add Occ Med tasks within your clinic hours, contributing to efficient patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include scanning results into the EMR within 24 hours, coordinating with employers, and supporting the team with scheduling and training. A High School diploma, MA certificate, and at least 1 year in a medical office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office preferred (urgent care experience a bonus).
• X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly Occ Med appointments and follow up as needed.
• Enter Occ Med scans into EMR; results within 24 hours of visit.
• Send Occ Med results to employers per protocol.
• Manage Clockwise scheduling queue for Occ Med visits and own your queue.
• Ensure appointments are scheduled correctly and authorization forms followed.
• Assist in training staff for new Occ Med accounts and new forms/tests.
• Support providers during procedures and maintain patient flow.
