American Family Care West Chester is seeking a friendly, skilled Medical Assistant to join their urgent care team. In this role, you will support patients through every step of their visit in a fast-paced environment.

You will welcome patients, assist with medical procedures, conduct tests, and ensure a smooth patient flow. We are looking for someone with a Medical Assistant certification, strong organization skills, and a compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency settings is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and gather medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and maintain lab quality control.
• Administer medications and injections under supervision.
• Conduct EKGs and other diagnostic support tasks.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
• Support smooth patient flow in a high-volume environment.

Skills
