Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active MA certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam by taking vital signs and documenting symptoms.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinate care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and ensure accurate documentation for billing.
• Maintain clean and sterile exam rooms and equipment.
• Order supplies and manage medications as directed.
• Communicate with patients and external/internal teams for coordination.
• Complete onboarding and simulation training as required.
• Collaborate with staff and providers to respond to changing patient needs.
