AdventHealth Malabar is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will drive the patient experience, document vital signs, assist with procedures, and support providers during check-ins, triage, and follow‑ups at our Malabar, FL campus.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ related experience or MA program completion, and BLS with CMA/RMA/NCMA certifications. This full‑time role offers day‑one benefits and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equiv.
• 1+ related work experience or MA program externship
• 6 months AdventHealth experience preferred
• BLS, CMA/RMA/NCMA/CMAC/CCMA/NRCMA/CN?MA/PARA certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Drive patient experience by owning the patient journey.
• Performs and documents procedures per department policy.
• Assesses patients during check-in and documents vitals.
• Administers treatments and follow-ups as ordered by provider.
• Conducts diagnostic testing and collects specimens per guidelines.
• Completes check-out duties and relays care instructions.
• Follows safety, infection control, and PPE policies.
• Trains newly hired clinical staff as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
