Job summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and front office operations. You will work closely with providers to maintain efficient patient flow and deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience minimum.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• CPOE certification must be obtained within 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographics/insurance.
• Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.
• Document medical history and vitals accurately.
• Perform point-of-care testing and report results.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab.
• Maintain exam rooms and inventory.
• Support front desk tasks and patient communication.
• Complete opening/closing duties and cash handling.
