Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal Medical Assistant education program completed OR candidate has 12 months to obtain national certification.
• Flexible to float between Banner Health Urgent Care clinics as needed.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by recording vital signs and documenting symptoms.
• Assist clinicians with exams and in-office procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinate patient care with referrals, tests and scheduling of treatments.
• Provide clerical support and ensure accurate medical records and billing information.
• Maintain clean clinical environment and follow safety protocols.
