Hillcrest HealthCare System is hiring a full-time Urgent Care Medical Assistant in Stillwater, OK. The patient-facing role supports clinicians in a fast-paced clinic, handling administrative and delegated clinical tasks.

Responsibilities include entering medical history in the EMR, taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with referrals and insurance authorizations. A high school diploma or GED, EMR skills, and BLS are required or obtained shortly after hire.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms; record vitals and medical history.
• Enter, maintain, and report medical history and claims in EMR.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments; ensure exam rooms are clean and ready.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and instrument prep.
• Coordinate referrals and insurance authorizations; relay prescriptions, lab orders, and x-ray requests.
