El Camino Health Medical Network / Silicon Valley Medical Development is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support a busy urgent care clinic. The role requires graduation from an accredited MA program, 2 years ambulatory care experience, and current BLS/CPR.

Formación

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Two years of ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience required.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Urgent Care/Ambulatory/High-Volume clinic experience preferred.
Epic EMR experience preferred.
Strong communication, multitasking, and patient care skills.

Responsabilidades

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints.
Perform EKGs, injections, specimen collection, testing, and other MA duties within scope.
Assist providers with procedures and maintain efficient patient flow.
Manage referrals, follow-ups, patient instructions, and Epic documentation.
Follow infection control, confidentiality, and patient safety standards.
