El Camino Health Medical Network / Silicon Valley Medical Development is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support a busy urgent care clinic. The role requires graduation from an accredited MA program, 2 years ambulatory care experience, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Two years of ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Urgent Care/Ambulatory/High-Volume clinic experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints.
• Perform EKGs, injections, specimen collection, testing, and other MA duties within scope.
• Assist providers with procedures and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Manage referrals, follow-ups, patient instructions, and Epic documentation.
• Follow infection control, confidentiality, and patient safety standards.

• Schedule: Full-time; clinic hours may vary between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed.
