Job summary

Instant Urgent Care – South Bay Area is hiring Medical Assistants for multiple clinic locations around San Jose, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.

The role requires at least 1 year of Urgent or Primary Care clinical experience; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and BLS are required.

You will support front and back office tasks, administer injections and vaccines, perform EKGs and vital signs, and ensure clean, organized clinics and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Urgent or Primary Care (Clinical).
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required), BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Back-office: Run testing analyzers, vitals reporting, injections, EKGs, vaccines, lab tests, specimen collection, inventory/logs, room restocking, PAP/sutures, cleaning and housekeeping as assigned.
• Front-office: Answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, verify demographics/insurance, data entry to EMR, collect payments, maintain cash/inventory logs, general cleaning as needed.
