Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring an LPN/LVN for an urgent care contract in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This on-site, full-time clinic role offers ~35 hours per week with 7–10 hour shifts and every other weekend plus some major holidays.

The initial 3 weeks are training/orientation, followed by 6-week block scheduling. You will assess patients, administer medications, perform phlebotomy and vaccines, monitor vital signs, document in Epic EMR, and support a clean, well-stocked clinic while

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in good standing; compact license accepted as primary state
• Current BLS certification (minimum 30 days before start)
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in urgent care, primary care, or ER
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• Comfort using EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and support care plans based on evaluations
• Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) and document responses
• Perform routine assessments, vital signs, and point-of-care testing
• Conduct phlebotomy and vaccine administration
• Document medical history and care in an EMR (Epic preferred)
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support high-quality patient care

Job description

Urgent Care LPN Pay: $37.17 per hour (W2)

Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA (on-site, patient-facing)

Job Type: Contract (temporary)

Schedule: Full-time clinic hours (typically ~35 hrs/week); shifts generally 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours; every other weekend + some major holidays

Training/Orientation: First 3 weeks are training/orientation; schedules are built in 6-week blocks after that

What you’ll do

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (must be in good standing; compact license must be issued in your primary state of residence)
• Current BLS (expiration must be at least 30+ days beyond the start date)
• At least 1 year related healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER (candidates with experience limited to long-term care settings only are not a fit)
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• Comfort using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
