ConvenientMD LLC in Weymouth, MA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. The role involves triage, high-quality patient care, and collaboration with clinicians in a fast-paced setting.

The position supports triage, diagnostics, wound care, immunizations, and documentation with a focus on compassionate patient engagement. Flexible shift options and regional travel within a one-hour radius may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior IV experience; IV certification for ME/NH.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required; not accepted if CPR/ACLS online only.
• Demonstrates compassion, authenticity, and patient focus.
• Proactive and confident communicator in written and verbal form.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Effective cross-collaboration with clinicians and staff.
• Technically proficient with MS Office and Experity or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients by taking vitals, documenting medical history, and identifying urgent needs.
• Assist exams and prepare equipment and documentation; support providers.
• Perform diagnostic tests (vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol, spirometry).
• Conduct point-of-care tests (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid, urinalysis).
• Provide cardiac and airway management (ECG, AED, nebulizers, oxygen).
• Administer immunizations and medications per regulations.
• Document patient information and test results in EMR; monitor changes in condition.
• Ensure instruments are clean, sterile, and well-stocked; support clinic operations.
• Collaborate with clinical team; communicate updates to providers.
