Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking dedicated LPNs to join our healthcare team. You will assist physicians, take medical histories, administer injections and medications, and manage patient charts in a fast-paced clinic.

Full-time staff work a rotating 36-40 hour week with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN roles are available. AR state or compact LPN/RN license and BLS are required to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• AR State or Compact LPN or RN License required.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination or procedure.
• Record health history and note abnormal conditions for physician.
• Instruct patients on sample collection and tests.
• Obtain vital signs and accompany patients to exam rooms.
• Assist with supplies and equipment, and support physician during testing.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed and monitor reactions.
• Document patient charts accurately and maintain files.
• Schedule tests, arrange referrals, and obtain pre-authorizations as directed.
• Collect and deliver lab specimens and communicate results to patients.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient/family education.
