Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Bryant, AR is seeking dedicated LPNs to join our team. You will greet patients, activate files, provide care support to patients and staff, and assist with exams, injections, and medication administration.

Full-time rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend; PRN per diem also available. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination; record health history.
• Assist with supplies and aid physicians during treatment and testing.
• Give injections and administer prescribed medications per nursing standards.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and confidentiality of records.
• Assist with scheduling tests and coordinate referrals; obtain pre-authorizations.
• Collect, document, and deliver lab specimens and notify patients of results.
• Maintain stock of medications and monitor equipment and supplies.
• Respond to calls and triage patients to ensure smooth departmental flow.
