Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced LPN for an urgent care/primary care clinic in Painesville, OH. This on-site position supports patient assessments, treatments, documentation, and care coordination within a fast-paced clinical team.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, active LPN license, BLS, and EMR proficiency (Epic preferred). Typical schedule is 30–40 hours weekly, with 7–10 hour shifts, including every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the U.S. in good standing.
• Current BLS certification valid beyond start date.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER settings.
• EMR experience; Epic preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and perform routine clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications (oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical) as applicable to scope and clinic protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Monitor vital signs, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, and treatments in the EMR.
• Support patient access to care and connect patients with appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.

Urgent Care LPN Location: Painesville, OH (on-site) Pay: $37.17 per hour Job Type: W2 Temporary (safety-sensitive, in-person/patient-facing) Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Position Summary

As an LPN, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced urgent care/primary care clinical environment. You'll support patient assessments, treatments, documentation, and care coordination while collaborating with the broader clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and perform routine clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications (oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical) as applicable to scope and clinic protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Monitor vital signs, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, and treatments in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Support patient access to care and connect patients with appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.

Schedule

Work schedules are typically created in 6-week blocks following the initial training/orientation period. Shifts are generally 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours. A typical week includes 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend. Some major holidays are required.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in a U.S. state/territory/commonwealth or Washington, D.C. (must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions).
• Current BLS certification (must remain valid beyond the start of employment).
• At least 1 year of related healthcare experience.
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency using EMR systems (Epic preferred).
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.

Interview required. Please do not apply if your nursing background is limited primarily to long-term care settings (e.g., nursing homes, home health, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities), as this role requires primary/urgent care or ER experience.
