Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC seeks an on-site LPN/LVN for urgent care in Richmond, VA. This temporary position runs approximately 26 weeks, with shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic hours. Expect 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend and some major holidays.

You will assess patients, administer medications, perform phlebotomy and injections, monitor vitals, and document in EMR. Prior licensed practical nurse experience in primary/urgent care or ER is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (US).
• BLS certification valid at least 30+ days beyond start date.
• At least 1 year healthcare experience; prior primary/urgent care/ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform routine clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) as appropriate.
• Perform/assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Monitor and document vital signs and treatment response in the EMR.
• Support patient education and connect patients to resources for self-care/disease management.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Urgent Care LPN Pay: $37.17/hour Location: Richmond, VA 23230 (5001 West Broad Street) Work setting: On-site / in-person, patient-facing Type: Temporary (approx. 26 weeks) Schedule: Shifts are typically 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours; usually 2-3 weekdays + every other weekend (some major holidays required)

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (US)
• BLS certification (must be valid at least 30+ days beyond the start date)
• At least 1 year related healthcare experience
• Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Important note: Candidates whose experience is primarily long-term care (nursing homes, home health, LTACs, SNFs) may have difficulty transitioning to this environment- please ensure recent relevant clinical experience.
