Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Clarksville, TN seeks caring Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver expert care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.

You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, collaborating with a team to provide high-quality care and service while maintaining standards. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a full-time schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
• Current FNP or PA-C board certification is required.
• Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
• Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through our door.
• Provide leadership during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring environment for patients.
• Perform medical assessment, treatment, management and follow-up for clinic patients (primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals).
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess incision and drainage.
• Oversee on-site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and specimen collection as applicable.
• Ensure operations align with medical policy and professional standards and collaborate with leadership.
