Job summary
Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Clarksville, TN is seeking a caring Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide excellent patient care across all ages with acute and chronic conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with a team to uphold high standards of care.
The full-time position offers a rotating 36-40 hour week schedule with on-site duties and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active APRN or PA state license required.
- FNP or PA-C board certification required.
- Current DEA license or eligible to obtain upon hire.
- Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Current BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all ages.
- Perform medical assessments, treatment, and follow-up for urgent and primary care needs.
- Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, and minor procedures.
- Oversee on-site labs and imaging when applicable.
- Collaborate with Center Leadership to ensure quality and safety.
