Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Clarksville, TN is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality medical care across all ages with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.

You will work with a team to diagnose, treat, and educate patients while upholding the highest standards of care. The role includes supervision of on-site labs, x-rays, and procedure support in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active state APRN or PA license.
• Current FNP or PA-C Board Certification.
• Current DEA license or eligible to obtain upon hire.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through our door.
• Provide leadership and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting environment.
• Handle high-stress conditions with long hours and varying locations.
• Perform medical assessments, treatment, management and follow-up for primary, urgent, occupational health and related care.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repairs,/debridement, injections, and minor surgeries.
• Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
• Oversee on-site labs, x-rays, injections, and specimen collections where applicable.
• Maintain clinical core competency and compliance with medical policies.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in education programs for staff and contribute to service growth.
