Job summary

Patriot Urgent Care, a CRH Healthcare company, is hiring a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our urgent care team in Clinton, MD. You will manage walk-ins and same-day appointments for ages 2+, perform exams, and order diagnostic tests in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Maryland NP or PA license or eligibility.
• Current FNP or PA-C certification.
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments.
• Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual.
• Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Performations procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with Maryland regulations and clinic protocols
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high-quality patient experience
