Job summary

Patriot Urgent Care, a CRH Healthcare company, seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Provider (FNP/PA) to join our urgent care team in Prince Frederick, MD. This role offers autonomy in a fast-paced setting with a 10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland NP/PA license or eligibility
• Current FNP/PA certification
• At least two years of clinical experience as FNP/PA-C
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care)
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, or related settings
• Experience in fast-paced/high-volume clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and 12-lead EKGs
• Prescribing medications and therapies per state regulations and clinic protocols
• Educating patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Collaborating with clinical and operational teams to ensure a high-quality patient experience
