Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks dedicated FNPs and PAs to join Richmond Urgent Care as full-time float providers. You will deliver care for walk-in patients, perform minor procedures, and float across Richmond clinics, with 8a-8p shifts and rotating weekends.

A VA license and active DEA are required, plus at least two years of FNP/PA experience in urgent care, family medicine, or ER. This role offers comprehensive benefits, malpractice coverage and tail, generous PTO, CME allowance, retirement

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license in Virginia.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum two years of active FNP/PA experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Willing to float across all Richmond market clinics.
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for walk-in patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of urgent care needs.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care as appropriate.
• Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent service.
• Provide patient education and ensure clear communication around care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Float across all Richmond clinics and support the Primary Care Virtualist Program when capacity allows.
