Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks dedicated FNPs and PAs to join Richmond Urgent Care as full-time float providers. You will deliver care for walk-in patients, perform minor procedures, and float across Richmond clinics, with 8a-8p shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license in Virginia.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum two years of active FNP/PA experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Willing to float across all Richmond market clinics.
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred.

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners to join our Richmond Urgent Care team. This float position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As part of our urgent care team, you will manage a wide range of non-emergent illnesses and injuries while working alongside a supportive staff that includes medical assistants and front-office team members. Our urgent care clinics are open 7 days per week, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., providing consistent scheduling and the opportunity to build strong connections with both patients and colleagues.

Urgent Care Scope of Services

• Walk-in access to high-quality, non-emergency care
• Occupational medicine services, including workers' compensation, return-to-work evaluations, and pre-employment physicals
• On-site diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, X-rays, and EKGs
• Seamless coordination with primary care and specialty providers as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Float across all Richmond clinics
• Support the Primary Care Virtualist Program during periods of available capacity as needed.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia.
• Active DEA license
• A minimum of two years of active FNP/PA experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Must be comfortable seeing up to 60 patients as sole clinic provider during peak cold and flu seasons.
• Willing to float across all Richmond market clinics

Preferred:

• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience

Work Hours

• Full-Time: Three 8a-8p shifts per week with rotating weekends.
• Rotating Holidays
  • At minimum, one market clinic will be open on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day with normal hours. All other clinics (if open) will close at 5p. However, all providers, regardless of clinic, will be expected to provide rotational coverage.
  • All clinics will have normal operating hours on New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independency Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Eve.
